OrganOOn is a great site-specific sound installation.
For Electrified02, [Roberta Gigante] decided to ‘hack’ the harbour of Ghent with a sound installation that turned twelve rusty, gigantic metal pipes stored there into didgeridoo-like sound cylinders.I’m big fan of turning environmental features into musical instruments. This reminds me a bit of those public organs that make sound from tidal motion.

Awesome. I’m gonna have so much sonic fun when I can manipulate the weather over MIDI.
(After all, sound is changes in local air pressure and weather causes and is caused by changes in air pressure; as in the local, so in the global, you see, yeah?)
